ISLAMABAD: The coronavirus has claimed another 50 lives in Pakistan and infected another 3,047 people.
According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the death toll from coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 8,653 while the total number of victims has reached 432,327. In Pakistan, 379,092 patients of coronavirus have recovered and 44,582 are undergoing treatment.
The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 3,284 people lost their lives, while 3,109 in Sindh, 1,450 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 353 in Islamabad, 98 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 173 in Balochistan and Azad Kashmir. I have lost 186 lives.
The number of coronavirus cases in Islamabad is 34,014, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 51,172, in Sindh 1,091,246, in Punjab 1,25,897, in Balochistan 17,650, in Azad Kashmir 7,578 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 4,770 people have been affected by a coronavirus.

Nationwide, the rate of coronavirus cases rose to 7.9 percent. Karachi coronavirus positive case rate is 17.39 percent. According to the NCOC, the rate of positive cases in Hyderabad was 18.43 percent. In Azad Kashmir it is 10.83 percent, in Balochistan, it is 11.62 percent, in Gilgit-Baltistan it is 2.68 percent, in Islamabad, it is 6.16 percent, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa it is 11.29 percent and in Sindh, it is 11.47 percent.
According to the NCOC, the rate of positive cases in Punjab is 4.42. The rate of positive cases in Lahore was 5.47 percent and in Rawalpindi, it was 11.26 percent. The rate of positive cases in Peshawar was 16.2, in Quetta 6.19, and in Mirpur 22 percent.
