ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus has infected 431 people in Pakistan, leaving eight already infected patients dead.
According to the data released by the National Command and Operations Center, a total of 47,084 tests were conducted across the country, out of which the rate of positive cases was zero point 91.
During the last 24 hours, 2,437 people defeated coronavirus across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,245,155.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 443,310 people fell victim to the virus while 13,031 died. In Sindh, 476,233 cases and 7,622 deaths were reported from the virus.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 180,194 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,855 died. In Balochistan, 33,491 cases of the virus and 360 deaths due to the virus were reported.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,570 people were infected with coronavirus and 742 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,413 cases were reported while 186 civilians lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,07,811 cases and 957 deaths were reported.
