WASHINGTON: US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller has said that Pakistan remains committed to dealing with terrorist groups in the region.
During a press briefing in Washington, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that he believes that Pakistan has taken many measures to counter terrorism. “However, we want Pakistan to continue to take measures to ensure the ban on all terrorist groups,” he said.

Matthew Miller said that the people of Pakistan have been deeply affected by terrorism for many years, and are in constant contact with the Pakistani authorities as part of the 2023 Counter-Terrorism Dialogue.
He said that India and Pakistan should continue the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC). The spokesperson of the US State Department further said that they will continue to raise the issue of safeguards on human rights violations in India, President Joe Biden also raised this issue in his press conference.
