ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways will launch a steam engine safari train from 14th February.
According to Pakistan Railways, the safari train will reach Attock Khurd from Rawalpindi via Golra Taxila and Hassan Abdal. Safari train will leave Rawalpindi at 9.30 am on 14th February and reach Attock Khurd at 12.45 pm.
According to Pakistan Railways, special arrangements have been made by Railways Rawalpindi at safari train stations. Last month, the ticket reservation system of the Pakistan Railways (PR) crashed across Pakistan causing immense trouble to passengers.
The booking offices of the railways were scheduled to open at 8 am in the morning but have not opened at the Cantt, City, and Landhi railways stations in Karachi. The passengers willing to travel through Pakistan Railways are facing hardships in getting their reservations. The reservation system could not be restored despite the passage of several hours.

In a swift anti-encroachment operation conducted near Gillani station in Gulshan Iqbal area, Pakistan Railways Karachi has retrieved its land measuring four acres.
The operation was carried out in tandem with the provincial government and Pakistan Rangers. The retrieved land, having a worth of Rs. 4 billion, will prove conducive to the conclusion of the KCR rehabilitation project from the Gulshan Iqbal area.
