The Pakistan Navy on Tuesday carried out a successful test of its indigenously developed “Taimoor” Air-Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM), marking a major step forward in the country’s maritime defense capabilities.
The precision-guided missile demonstrated the Navy’s ability to detect and neutralize sea-based threats at extended ranges, reinforcing its operational readiness and technological advancement.
The successful launch marks an important milestone in strengthening national defense and enhancing the Pakistan Armed Forces’ multi-dimensional, coordinated strike capability in the conventional domain.

The development comes just days after the Pakistan Navy carried out a live firing of a locally developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile, showcasing its precision strike abilities.
On April 16, the DGPR (Navy) said that the missile accurately struck its target at high speed and long range, highlighting the Navy’s operational readiness and ongoing technological progress.
