The Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai has claimed victory in the ninth Diplomatic Cup Cricket Championship 2025.
Pakistan triumphed over Bangladesh in the final of the three-day tournament, which included teams from eight diplomatic missions: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
In the final, a 15-over match, Pakistan successfully chased down the target of 113 runs in just 12 overs at the cricket grounds of Skyline University College in Sharjah.
Captain of the Pakistani team, Rahim Ullah Khan, Deputy Consul General and Head of Chancery, attributed the team’s success to the hard work and dedication of all its members. “I am really happy with the team’s performance. This successful journey highlighted the importance of sports in fostering teamwork,” he remarked.

Pakistan secured its place in the final by defeating the United States in the semi-final, while Bangladesh overcame the United Kingdom in the other semi-final clash.
