Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday announced a three-day spring festival in the federal capital Islamabad.
The spring festival will take place from February 25 to 27 and feature food stalls, parades by Rangers and Islamabad Police and a torch parade rehearsal by the Islamabad Police.
Other attractions include army band performances, fireworks, a camel platoon display by Rangers, cultural dance performances and tent-pegging.
Naqvi on Friday chaired a meeting, which reviewed arrangements for the spring festival. He emphasized that the festival aims to showcase Pakistan’s rich culture and promote a positive global image of the country.
Foreign diplomats and CEOs will be invited to see the country’s vibrant traditions firsthand.
