The Oscar race is officially heating up. The Academy unveiled its latest round of nominations in late January, with Sinners leading the pack at 16 nods and One Battle After Another close behind with 13.
Ryan Coogler earned nominations for both Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Sinners, a visually stunning vampire saga, while Michael B. Jordan received his first-ever Best Actor nomination for his powerhouse performance.
