The Sindh government has introduced online driving license application services to make the process easier. The new website offers non-commercial license renewal services in the near future in addition to online learning and international driving licenses.
Ziaul Hasan Lanjar, the provincial home minister, praised the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Driving License and the Inspector General (IG) of Sindh for putting these online services into place during the inauguration event. He stressed the importance of contemporary police techniques and how this project will enhance the public’s perception of the Sindh Police.
How to apply
To get a learning license, applicants can log into the official website at https://dlsonline.sindhpolice.gov.pk. After 42 days, they can apply for a permanent license at any designated branch.
Earlier, All 11 driving license branches in Sindh have started the service of issuing international driving licenses. Previously, the Diving License branch in Clifton, Karachi was the sole location where the same service was offered. This service is also now available online to all citizens of the province who possess a valid driving license.
International permits have been available since September 14 at six branches in Karachi, as well as branches in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, and Larkana.
