The famous OTT platform Netflix has acquired the online streaming rights of the Akshay Kumar starrer comedy-entertainer ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and the movie will be available on the platform from tomorrow, October 9, 2024.
Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film features Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor as a couple, and Taapsee Pannu-Ammy Virk as another couple. Apart from them, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal play pivotal roles in the film.
Khel Khel Mein was released in theatres on Independence Day, August 15, facing competition with John Abraham’s Vedaa and Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2.
Made on a staggering alleged budget of Rs 100 cr, the film ended its theatrical run with less than Rs. 50 crore in India and was declared a flop. The narrative of the film revolves around a group of friends who find themselves trapped in big trouble when they decide to play a game for fun. As soon as the game begins, a series of mysterious events begin and their hidden stories start to become more and more interesting, however, putting them into a lot of trouble.
