ISLAMABAD: The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting is being held on (Friday) today to contemplate over the measures to control the outbreak of Coronavirus in Pakistan.
Talking to media Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood said the screening of 8000 citizens has already been made at all airports of the country while some 20 Coronavirus cases have been detected across country.
The minister said in the wake of the Coronavirus threat National Security Committee (NSC) meeting is being called today. Minister for Education Mahmood said there are threats of Coronavirus globally, however, the panic should not be created to make lives of people paralyze and miserable.
He said the Ministry of Education would start a public awareness drive to adopt preventive steps to curb Coronavirus cases.
Pakistan reported its 21st case of the coronavirus when a resident of Gilgit Baltistan was also diagnosed with the symptom of coronavirus.
Sindh province had recorded Coronavirus cases at the largest scale in Pakistan from where 15 coronavirus cases emerged. Fourteen of these cases emerged in the metropolis.
