Now you can save and share your favorite clips from movies and dramas with Netflix’s new feature “Moments”.
Moments is now available worldwide for iOS and will soon be made available for Android, where it will enable viewers to capture their favorite drama and movies scenes with ease.
This is how Netflix elaborated on these functions in the post on its Tudum blog – “Let’s say that you are at home, in a very comfortable position watching the new season of ‘Bridgerton’ on your phone and you want to capture the moment when Colin finally kisses Penelope in the carriage after waiting for so long.
All you have to do is click the “Moments” button on the bottom of your screen-they’ll automatically be saved to your “My Netflix” tab.
Once saved, subscribers can go back into their Moments at any time using their phone, with playback picking up right where they left off. This cuts across genres, whether that’s reliving the climactic showdown in “Beef” or a chilling twist in “Wednesday”, “Moments” lets users capture and share it all.
In addition to re-watching these clips, viewers can share these with other people on various social networks, such as Instagram and Facebook.
The release of Moments is a part of Netflix’s new global brand campaign called “It’s So Good,” which features memorable scenes such as those that fans all over the world resonate with. ‘Moments’ is clearly something that the company hopes to push further in the future.
