MM News: What criteria or recommendations make you consider giving an interview to someone?
Nimra Ali: (jokingly) Today is not the age of recommendations; it is the age of money. I grant interviews to those who provide compensation. This marks my final interview with MM News. If someone else seeks an interview tomorrow, I’ll request payment, and then the interview will proceed.
MM News: Regarding the interview that brought you fame, share details about the location and the conversation.
Nimra Ali: I believe the interview took place at Minto Park, specifically at Minar-e-Pakistan. I gave my first interview at my mother’s request, and it was my initial encounter with a camera. Initially, I introduced myself in an unfamiliar manner after saying hi, my name is Nimra Ali. However, it quickly reverted to my natural style.
MM News: At the time of your rise to fame, what grade were you in?
Nimra Ali: I had completed my matriculation, and during the ensuing three-month break while awaiting the results, the interview took place and went viral on social media. Currently, I am studying at Punjab University.
MM News: Did Punjab University grant you admission?
Nimra Ali: Punjab University did not grant me admission? That should not be said. They would have to expel me forcibly. No, I faced considerable challenges in securing admission. I truly desired admission to Punjab University. I obtained admission through a specific quota because of my aptitude for acting. Following an audition and selection, admission was granted.
MM News: In our society, people often have opinions when a girl pursues acting. Have you encountered such situations?
Nimra Ali: No, my family provides extensive support. They were aware of my aspiration to become an actress, as my interest in acting dates back to childhood. I began creating videos on my mobile during the 6th and 7th standard. When the opportunity arose with the camera, I believed it shouldn’t be missed.
