ISLAMABAD: Kerosene oil price has been reduced by Rs 6.85 per liter to Rs 227.5 per liter in Pakistan.
OGRA has issued a notification for the reduction in the price of kerosene, according to which the new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs 227.5 per liter.
Earlier, the price of kerosene was Rs 233.90 per liter.
The government of Pakistan has increased the levy on diesel and petrol, according to Petroleum Division. Pakistan business newsDiesel levy is up by Rs6.57 per litre. It now stands at Rs79.54 per litre. The levy on petrol has gone up by 39 paisa per litre, taking it to Rs66.64 per litre.
Kerosene oil levy, meanwhile, has been kept unchanged at Rs20.36 per litre.
It should be noted that the government has decided to maintain the prices of petrol and diesel.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol per liter has been maintained at Rs 299.50. The price of diesel has also been decided to be maintained at Rs 311.47 per liter.
