ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the new era was all about research and education.
While addressing at the COMSATS University, Dr. Arif Alvi was quoted saying that we must move from a produce-consume-waste society towards a retain-conserve and save paradigm.

Dr. Alvi said, “It’s all about education & research in the new era. Humankind’s footprint on the earth is beyond its capacity to yield.”
He further said, “From a produce-consume-waste society, we must move towards a retain-conserve & save paradigm. We must commit.”

Earlier on Tuesday, the president in his tweet wrote that the corruption society should be discouraged by society and a corrupt must be excluded.
He added that besides laws and non-partisan implementation, society must also discourage corruption and ostracize the corrupt.
