The segment required filling in the blanks, and the host asked: “Living in Karachi is like living in _____.”
In response, Sharmila paused for a moment and then said, “Living in Karachi is like living in Paris.”
Upon hearing her answer, former cricketers and other guests present in the studio applauded and smiled.
It should be noted that living standard in Karachi consistently ranks among the least liveable globally due to severe infrastructure and security challenges.
It is also ranked as one of the riskiest cities for personal safety. Street crime and house robberies remain major concerns.
