LONDON: Former premier Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to go undergo heart surgery in London on Thursday.
The news was confirmed by his personal physician Dr. Adnan who stated that an updated appointment for Nawaz Sharif has been taken at a local hospital in London.
In this regard, Shehbaz Sharif, brother of Nawaz Sharif has postponed his plan on returning Pakistan which was scheduled this week. He was expected to return on 15th February.
Earlier on 8th February, a medical board rejected medical reports of Nawaz Sharif as the reports were insufficient. The Punjab government’s constituted medical board termed his reports as incomplete.
Nawaz is currently being treated in London since November last year. He is suffering from cardiac diseases and serious health threats.
Earlier on 17th January, he was granted a permanent exemption in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills on the medical grounds.
