National Parliamentarians Conference on IoK begins

ISLAMABAD: The National Parliamentarians Conference on Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) has begun at Convention Centre in the federal capital today.
The conference has been organised to highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir after its illegal annexation by the Indian government.
According to details, the event is being held under the auspices of the Senate of Pakistan. The event is being attended by Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Kashmir Committee Chairman Fakhar Imam, and a large number of parliamentarians.
Addressing the conference, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani emphatically stated that Pakistan would always stand by Kashmiris for the protection of their rights.
Sadiq Sanjrani said, “It is very crucial to highlight the Indian illegal steps on international forums as Pakistan is standing besides the Kashmiris to secure their rights.”
Sanjrani added, “This conference is being organised to bring further improvements in ongoing efforts and reaction against the tyrannical actions continued in occupied Kashmir.”
AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider also addressed the conference, saying that Pakistan has been the only country that acts as a barrier to stop India from completing its nefarious designs.
Raja Farooq Haider further said, “I am grateful for the organisation of a conference to show solidarity with Kashmiris, who are still facing curfew for the last 45 days in the occupied valley.”
He added, “India is dreaming to seize control of Pakistani waters, however, Azad Jammu and Kashmir is a shield of Pakistan. Kashmiris are looking towards Pakistanis but anyone else. We are proud of our troops and each Kashmiri will stand beside you.”
The National Parliamentarians Conference has been arranged to highlight the Kashmir issue, condemn Indian brutalities and chalk out a unanimous strategy to cope with the situation.
