Meanwhile, in line with the heightened diplomatic activity, the Islamabad Capital Police (ITP) has implemented a specialized traffic and security plan to maintain order while accommodating the movement of foreign delegations. This strategy is designed to balance the security of high-profile guests with the convenience of local citizens.

Islamabad traffic update: Another plan issued amid expected arrival of foreign delegations

Minister Mohsin Naqvi reiterated that the protection of foreign missions and the successful hosting of international delegations are top priorities for the government. The Chief Commissioner and IG Islamabad briefed the delegation on the “zero-tolerance” policy regarding security breaches, ensuring that all necessary resources are diverted to maintain a peaceful environment during the upcoming round of negotiations.

Authorities say as Islamabad remains the focal point of international diplomacy this week, citizens are requested to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and plan their travel according to the issued advisories to ensure a seamless experience for both residents and visiting guests.
