Najam Sethi once again appointed as Chairman PCB

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif has approved the appointment of Najam Sethi as the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

An official notification has also been issued by the prime minister to appoint Najam Sathi as PCB Chairman. The prime minister also constituted a 13-member committee headed by Najam Sethi to repeal the 2019 constitution of the Pakistan Cricket Board and restore the 2014 constitution.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, it has been said that the Prime Minister has seen the summary and approved the submission of the names of the Management Committee in the Federal Cabinet along with the suggestions. Najam Sethi will be the chairman of the committee and other members include former PCB Board of Governors members Shakeel Shaikh, Gulzada, Nauman Butt and Ayaz Butt.

Former cricketer Haroon Rasheed, Sana Mir, former director of PCB National High-Performance Center Aizaz Syed, former president of Larkana Division Tanveer Ahmed, former president of Quetta Association Gul Muhammad Kakar, former national team captain Shahid Afridi, former cricketer Shafqat are in the committee. Rana, Advocate Mustafa Ramday and CEO of Service Industries and member of PCB Board of Governors.
