ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released the procedure for issuing Juvenile Cards for children under 18 years of age. Under the new process, parents or legal guardians can obtain an identity card for their children by completing a few simple steps.
According to NADRA, the first step to obtain a Juvenile Card is to register the child with NADRA, after which a token will be issued.
At the next stage, the child’s photograph and fingerprints will be recorded at the counter. Biometric verification of the parent or guardian will also be mandatory.
The procedure further states that data entry will then be completed, followed by verification of the application by an approval officer. Once all steps are finalized, the online fee will be submitted, and the Juvenile Card can be collected within the stipulated timeframe.
Fee Structure and Delivery Timelines
NADRA has also announced the fee schedule and delivery durations:

Application Submission Guidelines
NADRA clarified that the application for a Juvenile Card can be submitted by the child’s father, mother, or legal guardian. However, if the mother or legal guardian is submitting the application, one of them must be present.
Additionally, parents are required to provide fingerprints, mobile number, email address, and details of the computerised birth certificate on the form.
