The Pakistan Post Office in Karachi announced the opening of NADRA counters at seven post offices in the port city, providing a range of services such as identity card (CNIC) renewal and temporary address changes.
This decision comes in response to the increasing congestion and demand for services at traditional NADRA offices.
Residents of Karachi, the most populous city in Pakistan, can now renew their FRC facilities, birth certificates, B-forms, and CNICs at counters in seven different post offices.
The introduction of these counters at post offices is expected to alleviate the burden on traditional NADRA offices, especially considering the increasing demand for these services. The move reflects a collaborative effort between the Pakistan Post Office and NADRA to enhance service accessibility and streamline obtaining crucial documents. Postmaster General Karachi is overseeing the implementation of these services, emphasizing the commitment to providing efficient and citizen-friendly solutions for identity-related matters.
