India made history after RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ become the first Indian movie to win an Oscar for best original song.
Since Naatu Naatu won an Oscar and has been trending since; let’s see if the Telugu-language masterpiece ‘RRR’ which became the third Indian movie to cross 1,000 crores globally in the year 2022, worth a watch not.
Known as RRR (Rise, Roar, Revolt) is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, and one of the most successful, becoming the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time. The movie is also available to watch on Netflix since May 2022.
Set in the 1920s, the movie is a period drama that is centered on a tale of two legendary Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who aim to fight back against British colonialists.

Though the movie is bit fictitious, the unbelievable friendship between the two heroes belonging to different backgrounds was captivating throughout the three-hour movie; predictable but still magical on the screens. What makes the movie interesting is the impossible fight sequels and glossy choreography that made India bag an Oscar and a journey on a roller coaster filled with emotions.
RRR does live up to the hype; apart from being a typical South Indian movie, if any Indian watches it; he or she will feel cinematic phenomenon and with a touch of patriotic sentiments.
The movie is three hours long but everyone knows how it would end and they still watch it. Put simply, the film’s a blast. RRR is the kind of movie you watch and then immediately gather everyone you know around you to watch it again.
