The story revolves around a woman who seeking a fresh start finds a new home with whom she shared with another woman. However, soon her sanity is on the brink due to unexplained disappearances and chilling nocturnal echoes in her new home.
Brilliantly executed film with solid acting and great characters, the core concept of moving into a strange house with a roommate who is essentially also a stranger is perfect for a horror movie.
However, many of us wondered while watching the movie whether it is based on a true story or not. Well, the film is totally fictional and is not based on a true story. With lots of characters to suspect throughout the movie, Deadbolt gives us a very satisfying ending.
