KARACHI: The condition of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) leader Rauf Siddiqui has improved as he was discharged from the hospital.
According to the details, the former minister was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack three days ago. He was discharged from the National Heart Institute.
Earlier, Rauf Siddiqui reached the Sindh High Court in connection with a case and it was found that the judge of the concerned court was on leave. Later, while drinking tea in the cafeteria, the MQM (Pakistan) leader suffered a massive heart attack and was taken to the hospital.
A spokesperson of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases said that Rauf Siddiqui was brought to the hospital with a severe heart attack due to which water accumulated in his lungs, after which he underwent angioplasty, and a stent was also inserted in the hospital.
It should be noted that in January 2018, Rauf Siddiqui was declared an accused in the Baldia factory fire case, while the anti-terrorism court indicted him the following month. Rauf Siddiqui got married in April 2018.
