LAHORE: The accountability court has extended the physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz for 14 days in the Money Laundering case.
Hamza Shehbaz was presented before an accountability court after his judicial remand in Money Laundering ended today.
The accountability court directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor to file reference of the money laundering case.
On the other hand, the father of Hamza Shehbaz, Shehbaz Sharif’s counsel submitted an application in the court to grant him exemption from appearance on medical grounds in the Ashiana-e-Iqbal scam case.

It has been stated in the application that Shehbaz Sharif cannot appear before the court as he has gone abroad for elder brother Nawaz Sharif and his own medical treatment.
The court summoned a reply from the National Accountability Court (NAB) NAB on Shehbaz’s application after issuing a notice.
The PML-N leader was arrested by the National Accountability Court (NAB) on 11th June in Assets Beyond Means and Money Laundering case.
