GURUDWARA: Indian Premier Narendra Modi has praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for opening of the Kartarpur corridor for Sikh pilgrims.
Narendra Modi said, “I would like to thank the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan for respecting the sentiments of India.”
Imran Khan will inaugurate the Kartapur corridor. Several other events are being held in Kartarpur to mark Guru Nanak Dev’s birth anniversary.
Kartarpur is a visa-free corridor where Sikh pilgrims can come after getting their passports scanned and bio passport scanned, and biometric confirmation with a nominal payment of service charges of only 20 dollars per head. The pilgrims will come in the morning and will return in the evening.
