Misbah Arshad has been crowned Miss Universe Pakistan, becoming the fourth Pakistani to represent the country at the Miss Universe competition.
Arshad was crowned at a ceremony in the Philippines, where Miss Universe Pakistan franchise owner Josh Yugen presented her with the sash before her predecessor, Roma Riaz, placed the crown on her head.

Her victory came after a closely contested selection process, with a final question proving decisive. Asked which version of herself, her 10-year-old or 80-year-old self, would ask the tougher question, Arshad chose her younger self, saying she would want to know how life turned out.
Arshad said she would tell her younger self that failure is part of life and that people must keep rising after setbacks.
A psychology student, Arshad has previously represented Pakistan at Miss International 2023 in Japan and Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.
She will now represent Pakistan at the 75th Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico. She said her journey had taught her that failure does not define a winner, but perseverance does.
