Significant progress has been reported in the investigation into the Mir Raza case, with investigators obtaining images of his smartwatch and initiating a forensic examination of the device.

According to investigators, notifications linked to the deactivation of Mir Raza’s social media accounts were received on his smartwatch. Officials said two such notifications appeared on the device at 2:42pm and 2:48pm.

Sources said the smartwatch also received a notification indicating that the social media accounts would remain active until August 27.

Investigators are now examining the timing and content of these notifications as part of efforts to establish a clearer sequence of events.

The smartwatch has been handed over to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) for detailed forensic analysis.

Authorities are examining the data stored on the device, along with the notifications and other digital information that could potentially shed light on activity involving the social media accounts.

Investigators expect the forensic examination to take between two and three days, after which a report is likely to provide further details about the notifications received by the smartwatch and the activity associated with the social media accounts.

Officials hope the forensic findings will help establish the circumstances surrounding the account activity and provide additional evidence relevant to the ongoing investigation.
