Mehwish Hayat, the biggest box office star in Pakistani cinema history, is making her long-awaited return to television.
She is set to appear in a brand-new drama under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. The production house officially announced her comeback by releasing the drama’s trailer on Instagram. Their caption read:
“A tale of love, secrets, and suspense! The legendary Mehwish Hayat makes a grand return to television, starring alongside the charismatic Ahsan Khan and the talented Hira Mani in 7th Sky Entertainment’s latest mega project. Coming soon, only on Geo Entertainment!”
The trailer teases an intense and gripping storyline, with Hayat appearing in a dark and mysterious role. It opens with a haunting image—a blood-stained hand reaching out in desperation. Hayat then makes a bold entrance, clad in a striking red dress, applying deep red lipstick, and delicately holding a rose. In a chilling tone, she utters, “Happiness and I are distant acquaintances; I train myself not to expect joy.”
