Pakistani actress and model Mathira has addressed the controversy surrounding a recently leaked explicit video allegedly featuring her, shedding light on the troubling ordeal.
Speaking in an interview on a private TV channel, the “Young Malang” star categorically denied the authenticity of the viral video, calling it a fabricated and malicious attempt to defame her.
Mathira revealed that the video was manipulated and edited by an individual from Jhang, who allegedly distributed the doctored content online.

According to Mathira, the man sold the video for around Rs 2,000, contributing to its widespread circulation. She immediately reported the matter to cyber-crime authorities, who identified the culprit as part of a broader operation involving indecent content targeting multiple women.
“The man was not just distributing my videos but also selling explicit content of other women,” she shared. However, Mathira admitted uncertainty about whether the other videos were genuine or similarly altered.
She underscored the severe impact they can have on women, particularly those without strong support systems. “When a girl goes through something like this, it can destroy her life. I was lucky to have my family and friends by my side, but not everyone has that privilege,” she said.
