Maryam Nawaz’s eldest daughter hospitalised after car accident

LAHORE: Mehrun Nisa, the eldest daughter of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz, met a road accident today (Sunday) and sustained injuries, according to a statement.

According to PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, Mehrun Nisa sustained head injuries during the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital where surgery was performed.

Mehrunnisa is out of danger and is currently under treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sharif Medical City, the spokeswoman added.

Upon hearing the news, Maryam Nawaz has cancelled her Hyderabad departure to participate in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) public gathering scheduled on February 9.
