Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, captured everyone’s attention with her stunning outfit at the wedding of her nephew, Hafiz Zaid Hussain Nawaz.
According to media reports, Maryam Nawaz wore a red and gold ensemble designed by renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the occasion. The elegant kurta and dupatta set, crafted from fine mesh, is part of Sabyasachi’s November “Heritage Bridal” collection and is priced at an impressive Rs. 1.623 lakh.
Zaid Hussain Nawaz, the son of Hussain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz’s nephew, tied the knot with Ayman Habib on December 25. Ayman is the daughter of Sheikh Habibur Rehman, a close associate of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The wedding took place at Jati Amra, and today, December 29, the Walima will be hosted at the same venue. Jati Amra has been beautifully decorated with electric lights, and guests from across the globe, including from the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and India, are expected to attend the celebration.
The wedding festivities have also seen the presence of Hussain Nawaz, his family, and his sister Asma Dar, with the Punjab Police ensuring the security of the guests. The streets leading to Jati Amra have been lit up with lights and adorned with flower pots to add to the festive atmosphere.
Maryam Nawaz’s fashion choices have always made headlines, and her appearance in a creation by Sabyasachi Mukherjee further fueled her reputation as a style icon. Whether at her son Junaid Safdar’s wedding or during political events, Maryam Nawaz continues to make waves in the fashion world with her modern and elegant looks.
While she occasionally promotes local Pakistani brands, she is also often seen donning luxurious international labels, making her a prominent figure in both politics and fashion.
