Maryam Nawaz should also be arrested for desecrating Quaid-e-Azam’s tomb: Chohan
LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz should also be arrested for deliberately desecrating the tomb of Quaid-e-Azam.
A statement issued by Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that the logical consequence of the deliberate desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid was the arrest of Captain Safdar. He further said that Mazar-e-Quaid, which is meant to be respected, was dishonoured.
The Punjab Information Minister said that the entire nation is waiting for Maryam Nawaz to apologize for the desecration of Quaid-e-Azam’s shrine before the speech. According to her statement, Maryam Nawaz should have humbly apologized for cultivating the ideology of the Indian establishment.

The Punjab Information Minister said that Captain (retd) Safdar Awan’s wife’s planning was working behind the riot at Mazar-e-Quaid. It may be recalled that PML-N leader Captain (retd) Safdar has been arrested today in a case of violation of Mazar-e-Quaid. He was arrested from a hotel in Karachi on Monday morning.
