Bollywood star couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, who are expecting their first child together have hoped it will be a baby girl.
The Raaz actress posted pictures of her baby bump on social media and announced her pregnancy last week. Now in an interview, she has expressed her wish to have a daughter.
The 43-year-old actor revealed, “Karan and I were clear from the beginning that we wanted a baby. We believe in manifestation. From the time we have wanted a child, we have hoped for a baby girl.”

She then added, “I know a baby is a beautiful gift, and we are supposed to be in acceptance of any gender, and the bigger picture is that, but we call our baby ‘she’. We believe it’s a she, and we have believed that since the time we decided to have a baby.”
Basu and Grover are one of Bollywood’s most laid-back couples and have always expressed their mutual adoration for each other. Bipasha and Karan met on the sets of their horror drama film, Alone, and after a year of dating, they tied the knot in April 2016. The couple announced that they are expecting their first child on Instagram.Â
On the work front, Bipasha Basu was recently featured in the thriller series ‘Dangerous’, while Grover was last seen in the web series ‘Qubool Hai 2.0’. This year, on their anniversary, the couple took to social media to express their love and admiration for each other.
