ISLAMABAD: A poor man from Muzaffarabad district of Azad Kashmir has appealed to the government and the well-off people to save the life of his wife, who has been suffering from cancer.
Aurangzeb told MM News that he has only one son, who is disabled while his wife is suffering from cancer. He said that he was very poor and worked as a waiter boy in a local hotel in Muzaffarabad and was paid Rs. 600 a day.
But since his wife was diagnosed with cancer, his wife’s treatment has cost him around Rs 100,000. Aurangzeb said as a lack of resources he could not start his wife’s treatment. Aurangzeb said that he had spent all the savings and now he became helpless.
“Cancer which is very expensive to treat, I started treatment at PIMS Hospital, then the doctors have given tests from expensive private laboratories outside of my reach,” he added. He appealed to the government and philanthropists to help him in the treatment of his wife.
