FAISALABAD: A 3-year-old girl has been killed by her own father who buried her after the murder.
Punjab Police have arrested a father in Faisalabad who buried his daughter over naughty childish behaviour.
According to some media reports, in Faisalabad, the father allegedly tortured a mischievous 3-year-old innocent girl to death, as a result of which the girl died. Police say that the arrested father was identified as Muhammad Yaqub.
The police say that the accused killed the daughter by torture for doing mischief and after taking the girl’s life, the killer tried unsuccessfully to bury the girl silently, but the villagers informed the police in time.
Officials said that the accused had been arrested after receiving information from the villagers that they were trying to bury the girl. This incident of murder of a girl child took place near 258 Rb Laman Pind Government High School, Faisalabad Police Station, Dijkot.
After the arrest of the accused, further investigation of the incident was started. Police say that the accused was arrested on the spot, while the girl’s body has been shifted to the Rural Health Center for post-mortem, the report of which is awaited.
