LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has said it is inevitable to make 2021 an election year if Imran Khan completes 5-years the country will be in such a state that no one will be ready to become the Prime Minister.

Talking to media after a meeting of the parliamentary board of PML-N, he said “This government is incompetent, as well as heartless”. He alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan made Quetta sit-in an issue of his ego, the nation has seen his face.

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Quetta has no importance now after his statement regarding the protesters of the sit-in, he should drown in shame, Ahsan Iqbal added.

He said that when the Prime Minister of New Zealand went to the mosque, was there any blackmailing. “Imran Khan this is not blackmailing but sympathy”, he said. For six days, the people of Hazara protested in minus 8 degrees.

The PML-N leader further said that in 2018, at the request of the Hazara community, Army Chief meet with the protesters of the Hazara Community and sympathized with the bereaved families.

“What are we going to ask of the one who is sitting on NRO,” he said. Imran’s case has not been decided for six years but it took only one year in the case against Nawaz Sharif”.

He said that the long march in 2014 was due to Imran Khan’s plan and foreign funding. “That is why the foreign funding case is not being decided”, he added.

The money came from the Israeli lobby. In the foreign funding case, Imran Khan was given the mother of all NRO’s. If the case is decided, his middle wicket will be lost, so the foreign funding case is not being decided.

He said all members of PDM parties have submitted their resignations to their leaders. “However, we will not leave the field empty in the Senate so that the government does not spoil the constitution with a majority,” he added.
