Mahira Khan unfollows L’Oreal page on Instagram

Mahira Khan, who became the first Pakistani Brand Ambassador for L’Oreal, has recently unfollowed the international cosmetics brand in a bid to show solidarity with Palestine.

The actress, who had been announced Pakistan’s first Brand Ambassador of L’Oreal Paris in 2017, and even walked for them, unfollowed its official social media account to show support for Palestine. It is to be noted that L’Oréal is Israel’s leading cosmetic brand which is based in Netanya.

Since the conflict between Israel and Palestine escalated many prominent celebrities have spoken about it and Khan is one of them. The Superstar actress took to her Instagram story and posted about Palestine and how many possible ways Palestinians can be helped in such difficult times.

Taking to Instagram the Raees star posted a picture of a Palestinian flag with a heart extending from it in a bid to show solidarity with the people, whose lives have been greatly affected by Israel. “If we remain silent, there is blood on our hands too,” she captioned the post.
