Pakistani actor Mahira Khan has refuted rumors of her pregnancy following her second marriage to Salim Karim.
“It’s not true that I’m pregnant, and I haven’t left the Netflix series,” she stated, addressing the speculation.
Her clarification comes in response to segments of the Indian media reporting that the Raees actor is expecting her second child with Karim. The news circulated based on a Reddit post from a user who, while quoting a close source, made the claims. The post went viral on Indian media.
A Pinkvilla Instagram post declared, “Actress Mahira Khan is all set to become a Mama to two and welcome her first baby with hubby Salim Karim. The couple recently tied the knot and took the whole gram by storm with their wedding pictures. We wish nothing but love and happiness for their new journey ahead. Congratulations, guys.”
Mahira Khan married businessman Salim Karim in October of last year, with videos of the wedding going viral on social media.
The actress had previously been married to Ali Askari in 2007, and the couple welcomed a son, Azlan, two years later. However, they decided to part ways in 2015.
