MIANWALI: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has disclosed that in order to achieve the goal of ‘real freedom,’ he has bigger plans aimed at the betterment of the country and that the Long March was only a little part of those plans.
Addressing a mammoth public gathering in his hometown of Mianwali on Friday, he said he was fully aware of the government’s plans to counter his Long March, but Islamabad would fail to take on them and would be left with no option but to announce elections.
Imran Khan told the crowd that four people had plans to assassinate him, and those names would be revealed to the public should any untoward thing happen to him. He revealed that if he were to be assassinated, then the people behind the plot will claim that a “religious fanatic has killed me”.
Imran Khan warned the federal government and its ministers against threatening party workers, saying that he would soon be announcing ‘jail bharo tehreek‘ (fill the jail movement).
Welcoming the presser by Prime Miniter Shehbaz Sharif on the Cypher issue, Imran Khan recalled that he had been demanding a judicial investigation on the issue for the last six months, and for this purpose, a letter was also forwarded to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Imran Khan lashed out at Maryam Nawaz for ‘speaking lies,’, saying how could she blame him for the cases when he didn’t frame a single case. He said all the cases against Maryam Nawaz were registered after an investigation into Panama Leaks made headway in Pakistan.
