Lockdown eased to facilitate people: Firdous Awan

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan eased the lockdown for the facilitation of the people.
Firdous Awan took to Twitter and said that PM Imran eased the lockdown to ensure the timely supply of essential goods and other facilities to the people.

The Special Assistant further said that relaxation in lockdown does not mean that the challenge of coronavirus pandemic was over.
She said, “The fight against the coronavirus pandemic is going on,” adding that citizens have to protect themselves and others from the outbreak of the deadly disease.
In another Tweet, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that citizens should enjoy their rights but at the same time they should fulfill their responsibilities.

The Special Assistant also urged the people of Pakistan to follow precautionary measures and practice social distancing. She said, “This war cannot be won without the help and cooperation of the people.”
Firdous Awan advised the people to implement precautinary measures as the only cure for the coronavirus was precaution and avoidance.
