KARACHI: The swearing-in ceremony of all the members elected in the local body elections of Sindh province will be held on May 22.
According to the details, the Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a notification for the appointment of Returning Officers (ROs) and District Returning Officers (DROs) for the election of specific seats. The PTI rejected the notification, accusing the Sindh government.
Tehreek-e-Insaf has demanded an extension on the date of swearing-in. PTI leaders also announced to approach the court otherwise. He said that the notification was issued at the behest of the Sindh government.

In this regard, PTI said that many of our chairman and vice chairman are not in touch and are still missing. “PPP wants to bring its mayor to Karachi by scaring the arrested chairman,” the party.
It is to remember that the crackdown against PTI is ongoing across the country. The leaders claim that behind the crackdown against Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders in Sindh, there is an organized conspiracy of the People’s Party.
