Live update PTI’s Long March Day 5: Imran Khan starts journey from Kangni Wala Bypass

MM News Staff by MM News Staff

2:33 pm

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan addressing Long March participants has said that no nation has any respect unless and until it has real freedom.

He said India was free to purchase oil from Russia on cheaper rates, but in Pakistan, ‘slaves’  were given script from abroad disallowing them to do so. He said “to me, surrendering to any superpower is like committing Shirk.”

He said a nation which is enslaved, lives like insects on the ground. He said in such a society, a person like Senator Azam Swati is subjected to brutal torture, while commoner runs pillar to post to get his problem solved.

He said Arshad Sharif was standing for truth and honestly, and therefore assassinated.

Imran Khan challenges Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan, saying “I will defeat you in your own constituency.” He said “I am not Nawaz Sharif who escapes from Pakistan, my life and death all is here.” He further said Nawaz Sharif had forged medical reports to go abroad, adding that he (Nawaz Sharif) was waiting for NRO from the establishment.

He said people, and not Imran Khan would have to save this country.

He alleged that Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were trying to pitch country’s largest political party against the establishment. He said “Asif Zardari, be prepared, coming after you in Sindh.” He further said that the majority party in East Pakistan wasn’t given its due rights despite winning polls, which angered masses there and resulted in disintegration.

He appealed to the Chief Justice of Supeme Court, saying entire nation was looking towards you [for justice].

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday released new schedule of its Long March, citing its slow speed owing to massive crowd at every point on their route.

PTI leader took to Twitter and released image of the new proposed schedule. As per new schedule, the Long March would now reach Islamabad on Sunday.

LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that because of passion all along the GT road, “we are moving at around 12 kilometers an hour. So those waiting to receive us please adjust accordingly.”

Taking to Twitter, he said his Long March Tomorrow would be passing through Gujranwala city today.

— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) November 1, 2022

Moments earlier, senior leader of PTI Asad Umar shared a picture of crowd surrounding their Long March container, saying that the picture was taken in Aimenabad Mor, a small town on their route, and not some city.

— Asad Umar (@Asad_Umar) November 1, 2022

He was responding to PMLN leader Nawaz Sharif’s tweet in which he claimed the PTI, despite its tall claims of bringing millions, failed to gather even a few thousand people for its Long March.
