ISLAMABAD: Lahore High Court (LHC) has heard a petition of former president Pervez Musharraf challenging the special court’s decision to reserve its verdict of high treason case against him.
A high court bench comprising of Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi has directed the counsel of Pervez Musharraf to present more arguments on the maintainability of the petition tomorrow.
Musharraf in his petition stated that the special court has reserved the judgment of the case without hearing his stance.

The former president has made the federal government, Federal Ministry of Law and Justice, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Registrar Special Court parties in his petition.
Musharraf said, “I am ailing and staying in a foreign country for medical treatment.”
He further added, “I could not be able to present my stance in the special court due to my illness.”
Earlier on 19th November, the special Court reserved its verdict of high treason case against Musharraf, which is scheduled to be announced on 28th November.
