The documentary, directed by Alexis Bloom and Alex Gibney, compiles hours of questioning in corruption cases that have dogged Netanyahu for years.
The footage covers investigations into alleged bribery, fraud and breach of trust, including the high-profile “Case 1000,” “Case 2000” and “Case 4000.”
Netanyahu had sought to block screenings of the film, citing privacy violations, but Israeli courts rejected his petitions.
The documentary premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024 and has since circulated through pirated copies and VPN access.
Clips showing Netanyahu’s exchanges with investigators have been widely shared by journalists and influencers, sparking renewed debate over his political conduct. Critics argue the footage underscores attempts to manipulate media coverage and prolong regional conflicts to avoid trial, while supporters dismiss the leaks as politically motivated.
The Prime Minister’s corruption trial remains ongoing, with hearings expected to continue into 2026. Legal analysts say the viral spread of the footage could influence public opinion and deepen polarization ahead of future elections.
