Fresh revelations in Karachi’s high-profile “Cocaine Queen” case have sent shockwaves through political and entertainment circles after investigators traced millions of rupees transferred through multiple bank accounts allegedly linked to Anmol alias Pinky.

Documents submitted to the Senate Standing Committee on Interior name several prominent personalities, including a sitting lawmaker and showbiz figures, as part of the ongoing probe into the alleged narcotics network.

Those who allegedly transferred money include MNA Sadiq Iftikhar, actor Muneeb Butt, actress Meera, and model Sarah, among others, Aaj News reported on Thursday.

According to the documents, millions of rupees were allegedly transferred into Anmol Pinky’s accounts by several individuals, including ruling coalition lawmaker Sadiq Iftikhar, his wife, actor Muneeb Butt, actress Meera, and model Sarah.

Investigators revealed that nearly Rs30 million was moved through six different accounts over the past 18 months, while the inquiry team has so far identified 16 accounts connected to the network.

Documents presented to the Senate Standing Committee on Interior stated that a total of Rs29.467 million was transferred into six bank accounts during the last year and a half. The transactions allegedly involved 21 women and 117 men. The appearance of names linked to politicians and showbiz personalities reportedly surprised committee members.

One account belonging to a woman identified as Basil Amica allegedly received Rs8.562 million, while another account under the name Sadaqatullah received Rs1.65 million. Accounts linked to Hani Furqan and Muhammad Sameer reportedly received Rs7.75 million and Rs6.375 million respectively.

Similarly, Rs2.78 million was allegedly transferred into Zafar Ali’s account, while Rs1 million was sent to an account named Sky Overseas. Investigators claim the money transfers were coordinated through individuals identified as Zeeshan and Sohail.

Karachi Police Chief Azad Khan briefed the Senate committee on the case, stating that names of law enforcement personnel had also surfaced during the investigation. He added that five cases were registered in Punjab between 2018 and 2024, while Sindh Police has so far filed four cases.

He further revealed that cocaine was recovered from Pinky’s former residence and that forensic analysis of the suspect’s phone had also been conducted. Letters have additionally been sent to NADRA and the Federal Investigation Agency for assistance.
