Famous writer and director Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has revealed how his famous drama serial delivered the most important message to the masses.
The controversial writer gave the Pakistani audience popular serials such as ‘Sadqay Tumhare’, ‘Pyare Afzal’, ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’, and ‘Bunty I Love You’.
Now, in a recent interview, Rehman responded to the negative connotation that his drama serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ received despite its amazing story, dialogue, and acting. The drama, however, faced massive backlash.
While he responded to the negative connotation of his hit serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’, he said that the drama taught the most important thing to people. “The drama catered was an already burning issue in the country, for example, ‘you see acid throwing, honor killings and abuse’ when women cheat on husbands,” he said.

He added, “I told men not to do that and let your partner go, open up the door for her. According to Rehman, he gave the message to forgive and let go if you’re in love. “Give her a bouquet, thank her, and let her go, why are you stopping her, why have you become stubborn about love, it’s not true love,” he said.
He maintained, “Whatever the time your spouse or partner gives you with love and contentment is okay but when he/she wants to go, let him/her go, only Allah and human’s bonding is everlasting.”
Meray Pass Tum Ho undoubtedly become one of the most-watched shows in Pakistan when it was nearing its end. The show had become so popular that the makers decide to give a proper cinematic end to it.
