ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Russia have decided to exclude New Delhi from parliamentary forum on anti-terrorism, following the deteriorating conditions of the residents of Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).

The decision of excluding India came to light after the 4th meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Eurasian Countries in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Russian State Duma Speaker, Volodin Victrovich unanimously decided not to include India in their counter-terrorism forum.

It is said that the decision was taken due to Indian brutalities in Kashmir and India rigid behavior towards the International community’s call for addressing the Kashmir situation.

Qaiser informed the Russian Speaker of the latest crackdown against civilians in Kashmir and rising Indian brutalities. He added that due to Indian measures in Kashmir, the valley is deprived of food and medical goods. The Russian Speaker expressed concern over the worsening situation in Kashmir, stating that further aggravation of this situation would be a human catastrophe.

On the other hand, Turkish leaders have also expressed their concern and reservation over the steps taken by the Indian government in the Valley. Qaiser has also urged and stressed upon the Turkish parliament to pass a resolution in support of Kashmiri people.

The Turkish speaker assured Qaiser that his country would signify Kashmir as an important issue in its parliament as well as other regional and international forums.
