The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that Karachi will remain hot and humid today, with a chance of rain in the surrounding areas, while the feels-like temperature could reach 45°C.
The Met Office said Karachi’s temperature may rise to 38°C, while due to high humidity, it could feel like 45°C.
Currently, the temperature in the city is 32°C, but it is being felt as 37°C.
Humidity levels are at 70 per cent while winds are blowing at 10 km/h, the department added.
Meanwhile, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, partly cloudy weather with dust/thunderstorm-rain is likely at isolated places in North-East Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and South-East and Eastern Sindh.
Islamabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35°C and 37°C on Tuesday and between 36°C and 38°C on Wednesday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35°C and 37°C on Tuesday and between 36°C and 38°C on Wednesday.
